Joe Hart will remain at Torino until the end of the season, despite calls for Manchester City to recall the goalkeeper from his loan.

After a series of poor performances by current stopper Claudio Bravo, it has been suggested that Pep Guardiola would be wise to cut the deal short with the Granata.

"Joe was maybe harshly treated at the start of the season. But he is still on the books, he is still a Manchester City player," ex-City goalkeeper Shay Given told Talksport.

"Joe was maybe harshly treated at the start of the season. But he is still on the books, he is still a Manchester City player," ex-City goalkeeper Shay Given told Talksport.

"Yaya Toure, for the first three or four months he wasn’t getting a look in and he managed to change Guardiola’s mind. Why can Joe Hart not do that?

"Maybe bring him back in January and have a look at him at least this season before he [Guardiola] makes another decision in the summer."

Despite these ideas, ESPN report that there is no option for recall in the loan agreement with Torino, and Hart will remain at the club until the end of the season.

The same source goes on to say that the goalkeeper has played his last game in Manchester, but it is extremely unlikely that he will remain in Turin due to high wages.
