Pescara’s Serie A match with Sassuolo has been given the all-clear for Sunday after an inspection of the Stadio Adriatico for earthquake damage.

There were concerns the game would have to be postponed on Sunday at 14.00 GMT.

After a series of earthquakes and heavy snow affected the area over the last 48 hours, the Stadio Adriatico in Pescara was inspected for damage.

No structural problems were found and flooding in the locker rooms will be cleaned up tomorrow.

It culminated in an avalanche crushing a hotel in the Abruzzo region, as up to 35 people are missing and feared dead at the Rigopiano hotel.
