“We had a few doubts on the Juventus line-up and I will admit we didn’t expect Juan Cuadrado to start. Many years ago, Mario Mandzukic played wide attack, because he knows how to do it,” the director of sport told Mediaset Premium.

“Juve are a side to be feared, so this will be very tough and we’ll see what happens. These are matches that help you to grow and I am curious to see where we are right now.

“Simone Inzaghi has the advantage of knowing the history of Lazio and this club, but his success is not a surprise to us. He’s been coaching in the youth system for a long time.

“Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has improved a great deal this year and can do even better in future. Now we just need to relax, as he’ll certainly have a fine career.

“We’re having a good campaign, but the onus is now on to maintain those results. Felipe Anderson is improving too, last year he struggled with the competition provided by Antonio Candreva.”
