Simone Inzaghi criticised Lazio for “compromising the game straight away” after their 2-0 defeat to Juventus.

Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain had the scoreline locked down within 16 minutes.

“We lacked concentration. We should not have allowed Dybala to get his shot away, or Juan Cuadrado the time to cross for Higuain,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We had prepared so well for this match and compromised it straight away. You cannot give Juventus that much time and space on the ball.

“I leave Turin thinking we should’ve started with a different attitude. I’ll take the reaction in the second half, but when you concede two in the first 15 minutes, it’s a long way back.

“I don’t know why we had this attitude. We knew the impact of playing at the Juventus Stadium, as we’ve been here before. It was a good second half and we kept Juve on their toes to the end.”
