“He was really impressed by the strong interest shown over the last few days by Adriano Galliani and Riccardo Maiorino. Milan really did do everything possible to sign him.
“Deulofeu is pleased and can’t wait for his adventure with Milan to start.”
The transfer papers came through, so the Spaniard is in the squad to face Juventus in the Coppa Italia quarter-final tomorrow evening.
