Juventus confirm Mario Lemina requires more tests on the back injury that ruled him out of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Gabon midfielder left the tournament early after suffering from lower back pain.
A statement was released this evening, pointing out Lemina is also out of tomorrow’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Milan.
“Preliminary results have revealed bone edema in the affected area and the player's condition will continue to be monitored in the coming days.”

It remains to be seen what is causing the swelling around the bone and an MRI scan is required.
Possible causes include a micro-fracture.
