Massimo Oddo has fired a parting shot at Bryan Cristante as the Pescara boss “needs positive people like Muntari” instead.

Cristante opted to scrap a relegation battle at Pescara for a shot at European qualification with Atalanta, and Oddo hinted the Milan youth product lacked fight in comparison to his ex-Rossoneri teammate Muntari, who is set to join the Delfini.

“Cristante? He’s gone, he probably no longer believed in the project here,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

“I won’t judge him, but I’m not disappointed. He made a choice to improve himself.

“I need positive people like Muntari, who speaks of wanting to win 10 of our 18 remaining games.

“We deserve the insults [from the fans] and we accept them. Although we’ll need the support of the fans, I can’t ask for it.

“Muntari? He’s ready [to play] but his transfer still isn’t complete.”
