“We must always give our all and cannot lower the intensity levels, otherwise we become vulnerable,” warned the Coach in his press conference.

“They are all finals from now on. We cannot rest on our laurels, because beautiful football isn’t enough and we need results. We must be hungry for victory and beat Genoa in the tackle. If we lower the intensity level, we’ll be in trouble.”

Sousa was again asked about his future amid Juventus rumours, but tried to evade the question.

“I cannot give my players indications on my future. I merely ask the team to give its all to grow and start to win games. We have always struggled against Genoa, who are aggressive in a difficult fixture.”

Fiorentina have goalkeeper Ciprian Tatatusanu out injured, so Marco Sportiello should go in goal, while Gonzalo Rodriguez is absent.
