“What’s more frustrating is not managing to win any game on the field yet this season and still being down there at the foot of the table.
“Football is strange, anything could happen and we need to get a lot of players back from injury. We could put together a run of victories and there are always the head-to-head matches.
“Human nature says when you’re about to go under, you fight with everything you’ve got to stay afloat and that is what we will do.
“We always try to play good football and reach the result through those means, but it does take a certain confidence and lack of pressure to do that. When we tried to defend, we actually did even worse. We still created four or five chances to score today.”
There are reports Gianluca Caprari could be on his way out, while Valerio Verre is close to Sampdoria.
“Last season we all celebrated promotion together, now we have to all suffer together. I give my all for these lads and hope they would do the same for me.
“If a player wanted to leave right now because it’s a difficult situation, I would be very, very disappointed.”
