Palermo have officially extended defender Giuseppe Pezzella’s contract to June 2020.
His previous deal had been due to expire in June 2018.
The 19-year-old left-back will take part in a press conference on Friday.
Neapolitan by birth, he has been in the Palermo youth academy since 2013.
This season he has made six appearances for the Rosanero between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
He has played for Italy at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 levels.
