Goalkeeper Christian Puggioni has extended his contract with Sampdoria to June 2019.
The shot-stopper has played regularly this season due to an injury for first choice Emiliano Viviano.
Samp announced that Puggioni penned a new deal tying him to Marassi until June 2019.
It adds another season to the contract for the 36-year-old.
He started out in the Sampdoria youth academy, going on to various clubs including Piacenza, Reggina and Chievo before returning to base in 2015.
