Genoa Coach Ivan Juric is hopeful for his side's future despite their defeat to Sassuolo.
After a promising start to the season, the Rossoblu have now failed to win in seven Serie A matches and have slumped to 16th in the table.
However, the Croatian was pleased with certain aspects of his players' showing against the Neroverdi.
"Today at times I saw what I want to see, that is a Genoa that is playing well," Juric said.

However, the Croatian was pleased with certain aspects of his players' showing against the Neroverdi.
"Today at times I saw what I want to see, that is a Genoa that is playing well," Juric said.
"For the goal we messed up a bit but then we created a lot. Today, the team played how I wanted at times but we weren't very careful.
"But compared to other times when I was worried, now I am hopeful for the future."
Juric was then asked whether Genoa have been conceding too many soft goals during their poor run of form.
"Set pieces have been a menace for us. Sometimes that's how it goes, we have worked a lot to improve that aspect of our play.
"Despite the loss, there were things that I liked."
