“With the flops around nowadays, I could still play in Serie A. And I want to play in Serie A,” FantAntonio told Striscia La Notizia.

“But if there are no opportunities to do so, I will stay at home. It’s very likely that in June I will end my playing career and start to act as my wife’s manager. Now she’s the one bringing home the bacon…”

Cassano’s wife Carolina Marcialis is a professional water polo player who had taken time off from her career to have their two children, but recently returned to the sport.

“If nobody is looking for me, what can I do? I won’t go to China, Greece or Argentina. I don’t want to go anywhere. I want to stay in Italy but, as of today, there’s nothing.”
