Davide Nicola says Crotone will never raise the white flag after a late defeat to Fiorentina.

The Pitagorici competed bravely against the Viola but as has been the case so often this season, they were undone by a lack of quality as the visitors snatched a last-minute winner.

"The most important thing is to be able to be organised on the pitch and give everything," Nicola said after his side's latest loss.

"Then, we accept the defeat like we have on other occasions. Today we could have won, we had chances."

Crotone, who have now lost six of their last seven games, remain eight points adrift of safety but the Coach insists his players will fight until the end.

"We didn't do it but we won't raise the white flag. The attitude of this team is to never give up."
