Atalanta have injury problems going into Saturday’s Serie A clash with Napoli, as Charles De Ketelaere and Teun Koopmeiners are major doubts.

It kicks off on Saturday at 11.30 GMT at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

This is a head-to-head for European ambitions between the teams in sixth and seventh place in the Serie A table.

De Ketelaere was returned to Bergamo early from international duty by Belgium after he sustained a muscular problem.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the initial diagnosis is a distraction of the long adductor in the left thigh.

The extent of the damage is not yet clear and it remains to be seen how long he will be out for, but he is a major doubt to face Napoli this weekend.

This is not the only concern, as Dutch international Koopmeiners was a late substitute in the 4-0 friendly win over Scotland.

He sustained a knock and was left behind for the final friendly test, but his condition also still needs to be evaluated.
