Kvicha Kvaratskhelia’s Georgia have qualified for Euro 2024 after beating Greece in a penalty shoot-out, but the Napoli star went off injured.

This is the first major tournament for Georgia and they will go into Group F with Turkey, Czechia and Portugal.

The competition is hosted by Germany from June 14 to July 14.

It was a tough slog for Georgia, who beat 10-man Luxembourg 2-0 in the play-off semi-final, then were held 0-0 by Greece after 120 minutes.

They eventually won through a penalty shoot-out, but Kvaratskhelia did not participate, as he limped off with a groin injury at the 109th minute.

This leaves him as a major doubt for Napoli, who go head-to-head with Atalanta for European ambitions in Serie A on Saturday.

That game kicks off at 11.30 GMT, so there will be very little time to recuperate.

Victor Osimhen is also in doubt for that match, having missed international duty with Nigeria due to the inflammation of a previous thigh scar.
