Giuseppe Sannino built his reputation as a technically proficient and man-motivating Coach working with several youth teams such as Pavia, Monza and Como, and then through various lower-League sides where he has earned five divisional promotions. Arrives at Siena for his maiden season in Serie A almost as the League’s unknown quantity, but off the back of back-to-back promotions with minnows Varese. Rising from Serie C2 to Serie B, Sannino almost secured an unprecedented third successive promotion by finishing fourth in Serie B, before falling to Padova in the play-offs.
