Following recent reports that Maurizio Sarri rejected an approach from Nottingham Forest, the former Napoli and Lazio coach has now been linked with West Ham and Newcastle United.

The 65-year-old Italian coach ended a three-year spell with the Biancocelesti last month, unexpectedly resigning following a frustrating loss to relegation candidates Udinese. Since then, he’s been considered an option by a number of clubs.

In recent weeks, Sarri has reportedly turned down offers from Nottingham Forest and Spartak Moscow and has been linked with a number of clubs including Milan, Fiorentina and Napoli, suggesting an interesting summer for the tactician.

Premier League return for Sarri?

As reported by Il Messaggero via TMW, West Ham and Newcastle are both allegedly interested in hiring Sarri this summer, with both open to starting new cycles ahead of next season.

In either case, the Italian coach would want to be able to spend at least €50m in the transfer market and would be keen on his former Lazio players Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Guendouzi.
