Tests have confirmed that Wesley Sneijder suffered a thigh strain for Inter on Tuesday night when in action against Marseille.
The Dutch playmaker was forced off just before the hour mark of the Nerazzurri’s second leg Last 16 Champions League match in midweek in clear discomfort.
In a brief statement released through their official website on Thursday morning, Inter confirmed that the player had suffered a strain of his right thigh.
The severity of the strain was not revealed but the former Real Madrid and Ajax man has suffered with physical problems throughout the season and most notably suffered a second degree strain to the same thigh back in late November.
