Manchester City have made a formal offer worth €30m for Inter striker Mario Balotelli, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Representatives from City apparently held talks with Inter at the clubs offices in Milan. They then reportedly had lunch with Balotellis agent Mino Raiola.
Last night, Inter President Massimo Moratti admitted that Balotelli had several offers from different clubs and that they were evaluating them.
La Gazzetta quote an Inter source as saying: Yes, we have received representatives from Manchester City in our offices.
We are talking about a calm and cordial exchange on the eventual transfer of Mario Balotelli at the end of which the offer presented, close to €25m, was not considered adequate. That doesnt mean the deal cant be restarted in the future.
In reality, La Gazzetta understands City have offered €25m up front with another €5m being performance related such as the number of goals Balotelli might score at Eastlands.
