Ronaldinho injury relief
Thursday 29 July, 2010

Milan breathe a sigh of relief, as tests show Ronaldinho will be out for a week rather than a month.

The Brazilian pulled up during training with a muscular problem and there were fears he would be sidelined for four weeks.

“AC Milan announce that Ronaldinho sustained a left femoral bicep strain. The player will not be available for the Emirates Cup and the prognosis is of around seven days.”

The Rossoneri travel to London this weekend for the friendly tournament against Arsenal, Celtic and Olympique Lyonnais.

Ronaldinho’s thigh muscle has only been extended rather than torn, so he has been prescribed rest and a specialist training schedule.
