Lazio have formally announced the signing of Uruguay international Alvaro Gonzalez. The 25-year-old, who has an Italian passport, spent the last three weeks on trial with the Biancocelesti at their training camp in Auronzo di Cadore. It marks a splendid week for Gonzalez as he was also called up to the Uruguay squad three days ago. El Tata becomes Lazio's third signing of the summer after Mark Bresciano and Pablo Pintos.
