Italy boss Marcello Lippi has refused to get all excited after Inter's victory over Chelsea last night because there weren't any Italians on the pitch.
The Nerazzurri made a huge breakthrough at Stamford Bridge, winning 1-0 to book their place in the Champions League Quarter-Finals.
Samuel Eto'o scored the crucial away goal - his first in 2010 - to put the tie beyond Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea.
Asked if Italian football is in decline, Lippi said: You might think so watching the Champions League, but it's not like that at all.
For example, what is there Italian about Inter who have all foreigners, including the Coach?
Earlier this year, Lippi was heavily criticised for not visiting Inter's training ground on account of their being too few Italian players to pick for the national team.
He was also involved in a verbal sparring match with Jose Mourinho last summer after predicting Juventus would win the League this season.
