Milan offer Klaas plus cash for Ibra
Thursday 27 May, 2010

Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo claims Milan have offered Barcelona €35m plus Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Milan are in the market for a striker this summer and have already been linked with Wolfsburg's rangy hitman Edin Dzeko.

However, news of Ibrahimovic's problems at Barcelona have apparently led Milan's transfer strategists to believe they can pull off a real coup.

Ibrahimovic left Inter last summer in the pursuit of Champions League glory only to end the season on Barcelona's bench.

The Blaugrana have since signed David Villa from Valencia, prompting sections of the Italian media to suggest Ibrahimovic is on his way out of Camp Nou.

However, Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has said on several occasions over the last month that his client won't be leaving Catalonia.

It's also unlikely Milan would sanction a €35m bid for Ibrahimovic given the austerity plan implemented under Adriano Galliani.

The Swede's €10m salary would also be incompatible with the wage ceiling Galliani has introduced at Milanello.
