World Cup Draw: Italy face Czechs

Italy will face Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Armenia and Malta to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The 2014 World Cup preliminary draw was held this evening in Rio de Janeiro with ex-Inter and Milan star Ronaldo picking from the pots with Paulo Henrique Ganso.

The Azzurri were top seeds in the draw and 13 teams will qualify for the tournament in Brazil.

Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland have to face off against Germany and Sweden in Group C.

Fabio Capello's England have the arguable Group of Death with Montenegro, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova and San Marino.

Holders Spain have a battle royal with France for automatic qualification from Group I.
