Italian giants Roma have completed the capture of Ajax and Holland goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Giallorossi will initially hand over €6.3m to the Dutch club for the custodian, but there are clauses that could see that fee rise by €0.5m or €1m.
The player himself has signed a four-year contract and will net a salary of €2.7m before tax. Again, that figure could increase depending on results.
Stekelenburg will be the club's new first choice after the sale of Alexander Doni to Liverpool. Julio Sergio has also left for Lecce this summer.
