Russian giants Zenit will make Juventus an offer for Leonardo Bonucci, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Zenit boss Luciano Spalletti has reportedly specifically asked for the Italian international centre-back.
Zenit will apparently make an €8m offer for the 24-year-old, a figure that will be deemed as too low by the Turin giants.
Juventus splashed out €15.5m on the stopper a year ago after his revelatory campaign at Bari in 2009-10.
It was thought that Juve intended to keep faith with Bonucci despite his difficulties in Turin last season.
Juventus’ other centre-back options include Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli, but they are expected to sign a new defender before the window closes.
