Blerim Dzemaili has already been won over by Napoli. “It's a captivating place that conquers you straight away.”
The former Torino and Parma midfielder is one of the reinforcements at the Stadio San Paolo this summer.
“Naples is a captivating place that conquers you straight away. From the inside, it's even more intriguing,” the Swiss international told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I'm fascinated by the idea of learning about the city and walking round with my maps.
“I settled into the squad without problems. Every fanbase has its own characteristics, but in the north and south of Italy I have found the Italian supporters to be very kind and passionate.”
Dzemaili gets the chance to take part in the Champions League with Napoli, as they finished third in Serie A last season.
“If we believe in ourselves, then we can go far. I found so much talent here, more than I ever expected.
“What we do need to learn is how to deal with euphoria and enthusiasm. We must remain humble.”
