Giuseppe Rossi is confident that Italy have what is required to defeat Spain in this week's international friendly.
The visitors' will start the game as firm favourites, but Rossi, who plays his football for Villarreal, has faith in the Azzurri.
"We know that they are very strong," he told Sky Sport 24. "They've already proved that they are the best in the world.
"However, we'll play a great game because we want to show everybody how good we are as a team too.
"We can certainly beat Spain. We are a new team who need to improve, but we've already done some important things."
Italy boss Cesare Prandelli indicated earlier today that Rossi will start in attack at Bari's San Nicola on Wednesday.
