Abel Hernandez is hoping to have a season to remember at Palermo following Copa America victory with Uruguay.
"I'm very happy," he told the club's website. "I made my debut in an official competition for my country and we won.
"I never thought about playing and winning the Copa America. It was a dream, but now I have to think of Palermo."
Hernandez, 21, is highly rated by the Rosanero despite a slim scoring record of just 15 goals in 57 appearances.
"I'm happy to be back at Palermo," the former Penarol individual stated. "I missed the city, I missed my friends.
"I'm very happy here and I hope, like the President says, that this will be my season."
