The agent of Cicinho will discuss the possibility of a new contract with Roma officials later this month.
The Brazilian has just a year left on his agreement in the capital, but he could extend after being brought back into the team by new boss Luis Enrique.
"I arrived in Rome yesterday and I will meet with Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini next week to talk about a contract renewal," Ricardo Sarti told Voce Giallorossa.
The international has had a difficult spell in Rome since his 2007 arrival from Real Madrid. He was also sent out on loan to Sao Paulo and Villarreal.
However, the stopper has returned to the Giallorossi and is a contender for the right-back spot this term in a more attack-minded team.
"The player is happy again and just concentrating on working hard," the representative continued.
"He's also happy with the arrival of Coach Luis Enrique, a tactician who finally knows how to make use of him.
"We hope to sort everything out quickly."
