The agent of Diego Forlan has rejected claims that they are considering an offer from Italian giants Inter.
The Atletico Madrid striker was quoted as saying that he'd been in touch with the Nerazzurri, but his representative has rubbished that claim.
"Diego has not spoken to any journalists during his holiday," Daniel Bolotnicoff told Marca on Tuesday afternoon.
"Anyway, for the moment, we have received no proposal from Inter. We have never entered into negotiations with them."
It's understood that the Uruguayan hitman could be targeted by the Italians as a replacement for Samuel Eto'o.
The Cameroon international is set to be sold to Russian club Anzhi at some stage this week for €30m.
