Roma are in American hands after a group of investors led by Thomas Di Benedetto officially took control of the outfit.
The Boston businessman put pen to paper on the agreement this afternoon after flying to Italy to conclude negotiations.
Di Benedetto's consortium have handed over approximately $100m to the Unicredit bank for a 60 per cent share.
Unicredit, who took the club from the Sensi family as part of a debt settlement agreement, will keep a 40 per cent share in the Italian side.
Roma thus become the first Serie A club to have foreign owners with a controlling stake.
