Zaccardo staying at Parma

Despite interest in his services, Cristian Zaccardo is expected to remain at Parma for the 2011-12 campaign.

Fulham and Fiorentina have shown an interest in the defender over recent weeks, fuelling reports of a summer switch.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 29-year-old will remain at the Stadio Tardini for the season ahead.

The 2006 World Cup winner joined Parma in 2009 after a season in Germany with Wolfsburg.

The former Palermo right-back has made 68 League appearances for the Gialloblu, scoring eight goals in the process.
