Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has urged Roma to “have patience and let Luis Enrique show what he can do.”
The pressure is already building for the Coach to be sacked after the Giallorossi crashed out of the Europa League.
Above all, the tactician was insulted by fans for daring to substitute captain Francesco Totti against Slovan Bratislava.
“I believe Luis Enrique to be a great Coach, as he has the character to do this job very well,” said Barcelona boss Guardiola.
“I hope they can give him time and let him show what he can do. The problem in football is always the same, as there isn't the slightest sign of patience.
“The way I see it, without patience you cannot have real football.”
Guardiola was speaking after Barcelona beat Porto 2-0 on Friday evening to secure the European Super Cup.
