Amauri is not wanted by Juventus and admits he could join Leonardo's PSG project. “They're a great club and I'm interested.”
The Brazilian who plays his international football for Italy is no longer part of Juve's plans and has been linked with the likes of Palermo, Parma, Hamburg and Trabzonspor.
“My agents told me there is something brewing with Paris Saint-Germain,” the 31-year-old told L'Equipe.
“It's pleasing, although Leonardo hasn't called me yet. Juve let me know I am not part of their plans, but I will only leave for a side on the same level. Otherwise, I'll stay until January.
“PSG are a great club and I am interested. If their proposal were to be confirmed, then I'd happily sign for them. Leonardo is a wonderful person and when I was a kid I supported him at Sao Paolo.”
Ex-Inter Coach Leonardo left Serie A and the career of a tactician to become director general at Paris Saint-Germain, signing the likes of Javier Pastore, Salvatore Sirigu and Jeremy Menez.
