Palermo have dismissed suggestions that international full-back Federico Balzaretti will be sold to Paris Saint-Germain.
Paris SG have already signed Salvatore Sirigu from the Rosanero earlier this summer and links have now emerged with the defender.
"There are no negotiations going on for Balzaretti," Palermo sporting director Sean Sogliano noted.
"I can calmly say that the player, without any doubts whatsoever, will be staying here with us," he added.
"I don't know whether PSG have expressed an interest in him and to be honest I don't care. Balzaretti will remain at Palermo."
Palermo have already sold defenders Mattia Cassani to Fiorentina and Cesare Bovo to Genoa this month.
The 29-year-old left-back was netted by Palermo in 2008 after spells at Torino, Juventus and Fiorentina.
