The chances of seeing Alberto Gilardino leave Fiorentina today are very small, his agent has admitted.
The Italian international is being strongly chased by Genoa, but it seems as if they'll be defeated in the race to sign him.
"He was wanted by Juventus in January and now Genoa, amongst other clubs, are keen on signing him," representative Beppe Bozzo underlined.
"However, I think there is a 99 per cent chance that he'll stay in Florence and that is what Fiorentina want to happen."
Genoa have made the Viola a number of offers for the former Milan man, but they have yet to tempt the Tuscans with a big enough offer.
