Italian Under-21 international Fabio Borini could make a surprise switch to giants Roma from Parma later today.
The striker only moved to the Ducali this summer once his contract at Chelsea came to an end.
However, with the transfer window about to close, the Giallorossi are seriously considering a swoop.
"The interest in him is concrete," agent Marco De Marchi noted. "Roma already made an enquiry about a month ago.
"We're just waiting for any more news. The final day of the window is always very chaotic and a deal could be done in the very last hour."
Roma want to take the former Swansea City striker on loan.
