Roma have distanced themselves from reports that Delio Rossi could replace Luis Enrique on the Giallorossi bench.
The Italian has been linked with the hotseat in recent weeks after the Spaniard's struggles in pre-season.
Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini added more fuel to the fire today when he claimed that Rossi is waiting for a capital call.
"There isn't a lot to add to the President's comments," Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
"Our Coach is Luis Enrique and he'll continue to be our Coach for a long time. He's a great resource for us. There is nothing with Rossi."
Sabatini has had a busy couple of months as he's revolutionised the squad following some heavy spending on the transfer market.
"We're satisfied with what we have achieved," added the former Palermo official. "We signed all of our targets."
Roma added four new players to their roster on transfer deadline day alone, with one of those being Fernando Gago of Real Madrid.
"He adds quality, history and charisma to our team," Sabatini continued. "He's a player who will be noted at Roma.
"He'll certainly have a point to prove, but he's always been an integral part of the Argentine national team."
