Rhodolfo 'strongly wants Juve move'

Juventus were linked with Rhodolfo this week, but the Brazilian's agent assures “he strongly wants” to make the move in January.

The Sao Paolo centre-back was among the candidates in the final days of the summer transfer session, though it was too late to complete the deal.

“My colleague Gabriel Massa and the other agents were in Turin a few days ago. We had reached an agreement with Juventus, but Sao Paolo turned down the offer,” representative Gustavo Sabino told Goal.com.

“The proposal was rejected partly because Rhodolfo is an important player for Sao Paolo, but they also didn't have any Brazilians capable of replacing him in the side.

“Rhodolfo very strongly wanted to join Juventus and we were happy with the terms, too. We're working so that in January Sao Paolo can accept the Bianconeri's offer.”
