Prandelli on Totti-Enrique row

Cesare Prandelli tried not to get involved in the Francesco Totti-Roma row. “In a project, everyone has to feel involved.”

Director of sport Walter Sabatini confessed there were problems within the club that were “killing Roma.”

Luis Enrique's decision to drop Totti for Europa League games prompted the squad, media and fans to split into factions.

“I was fortunate enough to train Francesco, even just for a little while,” said the Italy Coach.

“I know him to be an extraordinary lad who is generous with his teammates. Now it's difficult to get into this situation.

“In general, I'd say that in a project, everyone has to feel involved.”

There are reports Totti could walk away if the tension escalates with his Coach.
