Marco Van Basten has applauded Juventus' decision to sign Eljero Elia from Hamburg this summer.
The winger has joined the club in a €9m deal and the Milan legend thinks the Bianconeri have completed some excellent business.
"He's a really quick player," said the Dutch legend. "He's very good at dribbling and in one on one situations.
"He often goes past his man."
Elia was signed at the specific request of boss Antonio Conte who wanted an offensive left-sided midfielder in his 4-4-2.
"He's a player who can make the difference for a side," the former Golden Ball winner continued.
"However, he needs to be left a certain amount of freedom in order to invent."
