Marco Giampaolo admits Cesena “were naive and the red card was decisive” in their defeat to Napoli.
Tonight's game was stalled on 1-1 before Yohan Benalouane saw red on the hour mark and the final result was 3-1 for the visitors.
“Napoli proved they are a strong side. Facing them was already difficult with 11 men on the field, but we were naive and the red card was decisive,” said the Coach.
“We found the strength to equalise and put in a good performance, but they took over after the dismissal and the goals were down to individual errors.
“We've got to improve in terms of the collective movement and playing without the ball.
“Adrian Mutu did some important things tonight, as we when he runs at opponents he is very dangerous.”
