Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini will abandon his 3-4-3 philosophy in favour of a 4-3-1-2, reports in Italy are suggesting.
The Coach's tactics have been a source of debate for most of the summer as doubts emerged whether he had the right players to perform in that shape.
However, it appears that he will now drop his prime footballing beliefs after talks with club officials on Monday.
Following the 4-3 loss at Palermo on Sunday, President Massimo Moratti and technical director Marco Branca discussed the events of the evening.
On Monday, it is being claimed that Branca held a three-hour meeting with Gasperini about various issues including tactics.
As a result, Inter could line up in a 4-3-1-2 which was used by previous bosses such as Jose Mourinho and Leonardo.
Gasperini only arrived at San Siro in the summer after Leonardo's late decision to leave in favour of a director role at Paris Saint-Germain.
