Zambrotta: It could have been 2-0…

Gianluca Zambrotta was happy with a point at Barcelona, but he does admit to some Milan regrets.

The Rossoneri collected a 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp on Tuesday, yet the former Barca defender thinks his side could have made an even better start than they did.

"In the first 15 minutes, we could have gone 2-0 up," he said after Alexandre Pato had given his side the lead early on.

"Nevertheless, we can return home convinced that we had a good game.

"After the first goal we went a bit too deep and made too many mistakes, but overall we must be happy with this result against what is currently the best team in the world."

The former Italian international is also confident that last night's result will help them ahead of the trip to Naples this weekend.

"It's easier to go to Napoli now as this is an important and morale-boosting result for us," added the World Cup winner.

"We know it's complicated, as Napoli are in great shape, but we now have the time to prepare for this match."

The Rossoneri started their League campaign on Friday with a 2-2 draw against capital outfit Lazio at the Stadio Meazza.
