Nesta on the defensive

Alessandro Nesta has looked back on Milan's 2-2 draw with Barcelona following his own stunning Nou Camp display.

The veteran Italian was arguably one of the Rossoneri's best players on the night and a major reason why his side left Spain with a point.

"We started the game well, but then we did suffer a little after that," the former Lazio and Italy defender noted.

"It's not easy to play against these types of champions. You can't take that many risks and they're very dangerous in one on one situations.

"We had to back off and then try to win back the ball…

"We conceded some stupid goals, especially the first. Nevertheless, we defended well against a team who play good stuff in attack."

Milan, who drew 2-2 with Lazio on Friday evening, are now back in action this weekend when they travel to Napoli.

"We'll go there with the same motivation as we had at Barcelona," the World Cup winner continued. "We want to win and we'll just look to give it our all."
