Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi won't be paying a visit to former club Genoa this weekend after suffering an injury last night.
The 25-year-old Argentina international twisted his right ankle in Napoli's last gasp 1-0 win over Palermo at the San Paolo.
He underwent a series of tests this morning to determine the severity of the nasty twist.
Scans ruled out any ligament tears, but Napoli's medical staff recommend Lavezzi miss Saturday's trip to Marassi.
It remains to be seen whether he'll be fit in time to face Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League next Wednesday.
