Andrea Ranocchia has called for Inter to remain optimistic despite their dreadful start to the season.
The Nerazzurri began their Serie A campaign with a 4-3 loss at Palermo on Sunday and then a 1-0 home reverse in the Champions League to Trabzonspor last night.
They also lost the Italian Super Cup match against Milan in August.
"A team like Inter cannot let itself get into a depression," said the young centre-back. "We will get back on our feet.
"The season has just started, we have had these two setbacks, but can turn things around against Roma at the weekend."
The Nerazzurri switched from a three-man defence to a four-man defence against the Turkish side, but it wasn't enough to alter results.
"We're disappointed, especially as they only had one shot on goal," he added. "But we have the chance to make up for it on Saturday against Roma.
"It's a shame, because we were playing better compared to the Palermo match. Now we all have to stay united and pick our heads up straight away."
