Inter will return, says Milito

Diego Milito is convinced that Gian Piero Gasperini is the right man to revive the fortunes of Inter.

Gasperini's position at San Siro seems to be in doubt after consecutive losses to Palermo in Serie A and then Trabzonspor in the Champions League.

"Gasperini? We are all convinced that we can do great things together," insisted the Argentine striker.

"We know that there is criticism in football, especially for us, but we mustn't think about it. We have to look ahead and continue on our path.

"We have great qualities to do well. Right now the results are not the ones we want, but we are at the beginning and we still have everything in our hands."

While Inter didn't impress at the Barbera on Sunday, Milito insists that they probably didn't deserve to lose last night.

"We know that's how football goes. When you make a mistake in this type of competition you pay for it. This happened today.

"We had given away little and we let in an incredible goal, but unfortunately that's how it went. Now we have to move forward and look towards Saturday."

Inter host Roma at the weekend.
